Ciacomo combines a legendary predigree with the modern type added through a high percentage of thoroughbred in his ancesters. Ciacomo is a joy to have in the yard. He has an impeccable and kind nature and a fantastic attitude towards work. He moves with lot of suppleness with a powerful and balanced canter. He completed his performance test with a “Class 1”, meaning he got a really high score of 135,1 for jumping with marks of 9 or over in jumping under saddle and loose jumping. He went on to qualify for the Bundeschampionate as a 5- and 6-year-old. In addition to winning in national 1,40m classes he was also placed internationally.
Ciacomo is from one of the last crops of the foundation sire Cor de la Bryère, and there are very few stallions still standing today who offer Cor de la Bryère so close in the pedigree. His name is found in the pedigrees of countless top sports horses, and he is a stallion that revolutionised modern breeding. By the Thoroughbred Rantzau xx, who was a successful racehorse before retiring to stud, Cor de la Bryère has over 100 licensed sons including Calypso, Cavalier Royale, Calando, Caletto, Corrado, and Cordalmé Z.
On the dam’s side Lavall I (Landgraf/Sacramento Song xx) adds another infusion of thoroughbred combined with Holsteiner bloodlines. Lavall I was also successful internationally.
Ciacomo produces very modern looking foals. His offspring prove his qualities as a sire. He produced 14 showjumpers at S-Level (1,40m) and one dressage horse that is successfully competing at S-level. In 2016 FBW Casaraki was ranked the most successful 6-year-old showjumper in Germany and he went on to be internationally placed at the age of 7 and 8.
