Terms and conditions

General terms

• We have 50 stables available for guest mares. Livery 12 € per day, with foal at foot 14 € incl. VAT, from day 7 post insemination we charge 20 € incl. turnout in a paddock. Please ensure you book your stable in advance.
• All mares require a swab. Exception is made for 3-yo maiden mare and mares with a nornal birth and healthy foal at foot.
• All mares coming to oiur station for insemination must be vaccinated against influenca and tetanus. We strongly advise to also vaccinate agains herpes.

Shipping of semen:

• We routinely ship chilled semen between the 15th February and 1st August.
• Semen orders need to be made before 10am Mondays until Fridays and before 9am on Saturdays. We cannot ship semen on Sundays and bank holidays. Collection at our facilities is possible after 2pm.
• Shipment and veterinary certificates will be charged separately and are in addition to the stud fee. 
• The container and signed documents of semen usage need to be returned to us within one week.
• CORONA-Pandemic: in case we need to discontinue shipping due to the Corona-pamndemic while your mare would require additional shipments of semen, we will reimburse the 300€ installment.

• The stud fee includes VAT and the first installment is due once you receive the first shipment/collection of semen. If we receive no payment 14 days after the first invoice we will discontinue shipments of further semen.
• The first instalment of 300 € is due after insemination. The remaining stud fee is due 60 days after the last insemination unless we receive a barren certificate. When inseminating for the first time after the 1^st of July, the 300 € instalment can be carried over to the following stud season in case your mare does not become pregnant.
• We require a barren certificate 60 days after the final insemination. If we do not receive the necessary documents by the 1^st of October you are requested to pay the full stud fee.
• There is a multiple mare discount. A second mare will receive a 10% discount. Additional mare discount upon request. State premium and sport-register mares as well as mares with licensed sons will receive a 50 € discount, unless already granted another discount.
• Rebates don’t apply for the 300 € first instalment, but the remaining stud fee once the mare is in foal.
• If a stallion is not available on the day you require semen (due to ilness or competitions) we offer to ship frozen semen or using a different stallion.
• To ensure we can dedicate you and your mare sufficient time we kindly ask you to inform us of your arrivak in advance.
• Stallions from our partner stations are offerd under the terms & conditions of the partner stations.

• If you bring yiozr ares to ozr facilities we need the passport, results of the swabs and the covering documents issued by your breeding association.
• For shipments we need the following: Name, address and phone number of the breeder, name and address of the vet/insemination technician and the covering documents issued by your breeding association.
